For first time in 40 years --- Ventura  goes Blue !!

Ventura County reports a gain of 3401 more Democratic voters than Republican!

Santa Barbara County enjoys a 13,589 Democratic Majority
and San Luis Obispo works to close gap needs 8659 Democrats

Vote Blue Central Coast is a Political Action Committee (PAC) serving Ventura, Santa Barbara, and San Luis Obispo Counties.  Our goal: to get  9,700 new Democratic voters engaged, informed and to the polls in June 2008 and November 2008.

To date Vote Blue professional teams have registered 3800 Democrats and assisted Democratic Clubs to contact new neighbors and identify possible new members for their organizations.

We are planning to expand to San Luis Obispo this summer with the cooperation of Democratic Clubs and progressive organizations to help all grassroots efforts in the Central Coast.

Recent fundraising efforts:

The Master of Ceremonies was Eric Baumen, Chair of the Los Angeles Democratic Party  standing-in for Art Torres, Chair CDP.

State Controller, John Chiang spoke of the success of progressive policies in California
